Cary Real Estate Community Information
"Hottest Town in the East"

Make no mistake, the city of Cary is no newcomer to the Triangle.  In fact, it was established in 1750 as a rural agricultural center, and was incorporated as a city in 1871.

Before the development of the Research Triangle Park, Cary was a small, well planned community.  In 1907, the first public high school was built in Cary and the town has maintained its commitment to both controlled growth and fine education.

Cary has expanded its population dramatically without forfeiting the quality of life that first established it as a town known for its civilized southern hospitality.

Cary is a thriving community in the heart of the Triangle area of North Carolina, between Raleigh and renowned Research Triangle Park. The Triangle area repeatedly has ranked among the top regions in the country to live or work, to find a home or start a business, to raise a family or retire.

Regency Park Amphitheatre of Cary

The Koka Booth Amphitheatre at Regency Park is unlike any other venue in the area. Located among 20 acres of stately hardwoods and pines and beautifully situated next to Symphony Lake, our park has been described as truly magnificent! With a capacity of 7,000 people, patrons can enjoy a seat on our spacious lawn or specially designed crescent deck. The Amphitheatre's performance season runs April through October and features an eclectic mix of entertainers which includes live music concerts and festivals, the North Carolina Symphony Summerfest Series and Movies by Moonlight movie nights.

Cary Page Walker Museum

The Page-Walker Arts & History Center was built as a hotel in 1868 by Town of Cary founder Allison Francis Page. In 1979, the Page-Walker Hotel was listed on the National Register for Historic Places. In 1985, a citizens group, Friends of the Page-Walker Hotel, joined with the Town of Cary to save the deteriorating building and restore it as an arts and history center. Today, the center is alive with classes, events, performances, meetings and receptions and the gallery exhibitions feature works of local and regional artists.
